About the role

We are currently in search of a Warranty and Quality Manager who will be responsible for managing warranty claims, ensuring product quality, driving continuous improvement, managing supplier relationships and fostering customer satisfaction. We are open to finding the right candidate for this role; hence it will be open to locations based in Sydney (Preferred), Brisbane & Melbourne.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Oversee the warranty process, ensuring claims are handled efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding warranty inquiries and claims resolution.
• Provide regular reports to management on warranty and quality performance, including recommendations for improvements.
• Oversee and maintain product quality standards to meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
• Monitor and control warranty and quality-related costs, aiming to reduce expenses associated with defects and claims.
• Ensure that the warranty process and quality assurance practices meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions to resolve defects and prevent recurrence.

About you

We are seeking a customer-orientated team member that possesses the following attributes:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior technical HVAC role
• Proven experience on Chillers and AHU products with an understanding of the Applied Industry.
• Sound understanding of field controls and central plant operations
• Well-developed problem-solving skills that allow for resolution of issues within reasonable timeframes
• Demonstrated skills in developing long term and strong relationships with all employees, clients and suppliers
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relate effectively to a wide range of people
