Service Technician - Applied

About the Role

We are a global leader in air conditioning, seeking a passionate, results-driven and solution-orientated Service Technician based in Northern Territory to join our dynamic team at Daikin Australia to shape the future of our Applied Business.

This exciting role involves working on our market-leading Applied Product range including Chillers, Air Handling and Fan Coil units, providing on-site and emergency corrective maintenance, and conducting routine preventive maintenance tasks, perfect for candidates who are interested in taking ownership and accountability of the problem at hand. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and ensuring the optimal performance of our products.

Drawing on the stability of the core business and the knowledge of our global business, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of growing the division in Australia. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our Daikin Chiller units, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to our overall business goals.

About You

• A skilled problem solver: You have a strong technical background, diagnose & repair complex HVAC systems and passionate about finding innovative solution to complex problems.
• Service Delivery and Quality – Providing support to applied products including and not limited to commissioning, maintenance, warranty service and breakdown services.
• Customer Management – Act as an interface for customers on Applied product performance and quality whilst developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Accountable and responsible: You take ownership of your work and are committed to delivering high-quality results.

Key Qualifications (Must have)

• Cert III in refrigeration, air conditioning and Engineering (Mechanical)
• Refrigerant Handling License (ARTICK License)
• Restricted Electrical Work License
• Current Australian Driver's License
• Experience with servicing, maintenance, repairs and commissioning on chiller systems
• Full unrestricted working rights in Australia
