The Opportunity:
Are you ready to cement our position as the market leader in Applied Solutions? We are looking for a strategic Service Manager to spearhead our service operations across QLD and the NT. Based out of our Murarrie office, you won’t just be managing a schedule; you will be the architect of our regional growth.
You will lead a high-performing team of technicians, driving operational excellence and technical precision. This is a pivotal role where your ability to balance "boots on the ground" service delivery with national strategic objectives will directly impact our profitability and customer loyalty.
Reporting to the National Service Manager; some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Strategy Development and Execution – Develop and execute the Applied Service Strategy for the region to achieve our goal of becoming the leader in Applied Solutions Business in Australia.
Service Delivery and Quality – Providing support to applied products including and not limited to commissioning, maintenance, warranty service and breakdown services.
Customer Management – Act as an interface for customers on Applied product performance and quality whilst developing and maintaining customer relationships.
Staff Management and Development – Lead, coach and encourage staff, especially technicians under your direction supervision to achieve performance objectives in your region.
The Right Person:
To be considered for this opportunity; you will need to obtain the following:
At least 10 years’ experience in the HVAC or similar industry, with 5 – 7 years in a management capacity and 3 – 5 years in a technical role is desirable.
General understanding of HVAC with a specific focus on Applied Products – Chillers, Controls and Airside.
Proven ability to lead large service operations in a technical/OEM environment
Financial and commercial acumen, including P&L and contract management
Competent understanding of warranty, compliance and regulatory frameworks
Ideally a tertiary or trade qualification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering or related field
Strong people management skills, with particular emphasis on developing teams and driving performance.
Excellent communication skills- with the ability to deliver clear messages and communicate with impact with appropriate language and understanding.
Ability to identify, promote and implement continuous improvements to increase efficiency and enhances quality.
