About the role

Daikin Australia is currently offering an opportunity for candidates to join our Commercial Sales team in Brisbane! This role as a Technical Sales Support Officer will be based in Murarrie QLD.

Reporting to the Sales Manager – Commercial QLD, you will be responsible for assisting our Account Managers and Sales Manager in requirements relating to product selection, estimating and arranging product tenders, packaging of product solutions, follow through of quotations submitted and helping customer enquiries relating to product.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Review      project and product specifications, select product, and provide quotes      within relevant time frames and other project parameters to customers.

• Prepare      preliminary solutions and pricing on products as requested by internal or      external customers.

• Provide      product information - including data, product brochures, etc. - upon      request provide advice and guidance on technical queries to both internal      and external customers.

• Maintain      appropriate customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction is      maintained.

• Assist      Sales staff with project-related calls to/from customers when required.

About you

• Mechanical      Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent qualification or HVAC trade      qualification along with demonstrated experience and knowledge in HVAC,      will be highly regarded.

• Ability      to work independently and in a team environment

• Previous      experience reading and interpreting technical plans and tender      specifications.

• High      level of organisation skills with demonstrated attention to detail

• Proactive      approach to learning and personal development.
