About the role
Daikin Australia currently in search for an Inventory Planner to join our Sales Planning division. This role will be based in Chipping Norton, NSW with the purpose of ensuring that Sales forecast is met by planning for finished goods and accessory inventory.
Reporting to the GM – Strategy and Sales Planning, this role will incorporate components such as:
Daily analysis of stock balance sheets to determine current/future stock shortages.
Ensure accurate reporting and management of excess, liquidated, runout and superseded stocks.
Creating demand forecasts for finished goods and accessories in line with Stock Standards.
Liaising with suppliers to arrange for accurate and timely delivery of stock against purchase orders.
Monitor daily stock movements and reallocate inventory across warehouses to maintain optimal stock levels.
About You
You are a detail-oriented problem solver who takes ownership of your work. You thrive in environments where you can analyse data to find solutions and aren’t afraid to navigate complex priorities.
To be successful, you will bring:
Experience: Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Inventory Control or Planning, ideally within engineering or technical product sectors.
Technical Savvy:High-level proficiency in SAP and Advanced Excel is essential.
Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to analyse data, identify trends, and take initiative to resolve issues.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to manage conflicting priorities and achieve positive outcomes with stakeholders.
Resilience: A calm approach to conflict management and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
