What is Daikin Intelligent Eye?
Daikin’s Intelligent Eye is a built-in sensor that detects when people are in the room. It helps maintain comfort while also reducing energy use when the room is empty.
How it Works
Detects movement: The sensor checks whether someone is in the room.
Saves energy automatically: If no movement is detected for 20 minutes, the air conditioner adjusts to a more efficient setting to avoid unnecessary power use.
This adjustment is:
-2°C in HEAT mode
+2°C in COOL mode
+2°C in DRY mode
(+1°C adjustment applies if the room temperature is above 30°C in COOL or DRY mode.)
In FAN mode, the airflow rate is simply reduced slightly.
Returns to normal: When someone re-enters the room, the unit automatically returns to the original temperature and fan settings.
In simple terms: Intelligent Eye notices when you’re not there and reduces energy use. When you come back, it switches back to keeping you comfortable, without you having to do anything.
