How to link Google Assistant to the Daikin Airbase app
To use Google Home to control your air conditioner, there are a few steps you need to follow before linking Daikin Airbase to the Google Home app.
Ensure that your Daikin Airbase app has been downloaded / updated. When updating the app, you will be prompted to push the firmware update to the Airbase adapter.
Daikin Airbase ‘Out-of-Home’ control must be set up in order to link the Google Airbase Voice action.
To link Google Home to Daikin Airbase, follow the steps below:
Step 1. Open the Google Home App
Step 2. Tap the "+" symbol
Step 3. Tap "Set up device"
Step 4. Tap "Works with Google"
Step 5. Tap the magnifying glass symbol
Step 6. Type "Daikin" in the search bar and select "Daikin Airbase Voice"
Step 7. Tap "Link" to link your Daikin Airbase Voice account
Step 8. Tap "Accept"
Step 9. Enter your Daikin Airbase App 'Out of Home' login details
Step 10. Select the "Aircon Name"
Step 11. Tap "Done" once the selection has been made
Step 12. Your Daikin Airbase Voice account is now linked
Step 13. Select "Daikin Airbase Voice"
Step 14. Tap the "arrow" to return
Step 15. Tap the "arrow" to return
Step 16. Tap the "arrow" to return
Step 17. The linking process is now completed
