What are refrigerants?
Refrigerants are the special fluids inside an air conditioner that make heating and cooling possible.
In summer: They absorb heat from the air inside your home and move it outside, helping your home stay cool.
In winter: The process reverses. They draw heat from the outside air and bring it indoors to warm your space.
Without refrigerants, your air conditioner wouldn’t be able to heat or cool at all—they’re essential to the entire process.
