Daikin Australia announces new R32 Floor Standing units with Streamer Technology and built-in Wi-Fi
Daikin Australia has launched its new Floor Standing split system featuring R32 refrigerant with a lower ‘Global Warming Potential Factor’ than R410A. This new series is available in 6 models with capacities ranging from 2.5kW to 6.7kW. The indoor units come in a compact minimalistic design with dimensions of 600(H) x 750(W) x 238(D) mm making them ideal for placement under a window sill or semi-recessed into an unused fireplace.
Ultimate Heating Functionality
Specifically designed to provide ultimate heating comfort in the colder regions of Australia, the new floor standing models boast up to 19% improved heating capacity at 2°C ambient temperatures compared to its R410A predecessors. With innovative new heating features, these models ensure greater warmth and efficiency. The Heat Boost feature on startup swiftly heats up your room, reaching setpoint 14% faster than conventional settings. The Heat Plus function mimics the cosy warmth of a traditional radiator for 30 minutes while providing a quieter, serene heating experience. Additionally, the Floor Warming function creates an evenly heated ambiance throughout the space by distributing hot air from the base of the indoor unit.
Cutting-edge Indoor Air Quality Features
The new floor standing units incorporate Daikin’s latest indoor air quality features. Central to this is the built-in Daikin Streamer Technology which discharges high speed electrons generating powerful oxidative decomposition that has been proven to eliminate more than 99.6% of pollen in 2 hours, 99.9% of mould in 24 hours, and 99.61% of allergens in 24 hours. Furthermore, Mould-Proof Operation mode activates at the end of a cooling or drying operation to dry the indoor heat exchanger to prevent mould growth on internal components.
Extra Convenience
The Daikin Eye display, serving as the visual hallmark of Daikin, offers a snapshot of the current operation mode through its multi-coloured LED indicators. These new models also feature built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allowing convenient access to frequently used functions via the Daikin Mobile Controller app.
