About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Warehouse Operations Manager to join our Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in Warwick Farm, Sydney. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be crucial in overseeing and managing the performance of our Daikin Park Warehouses and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring superior operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and cost-effectiveness across all warehouse operations nationwide.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor      Daikin Park KPI’s and manage operational aspects of warehouses

  • Managing      all 3PL Service Level Agreements (SLAs), focusing on inventory accuracy,      Turnaround Time (TAT/DIFOT), and damages. You will be responsible for      managing all communication with 3PL providers, including forecasting      volumes and urgent freight requirements.

  • Taking      ownership of daily variance reconciliation reports (between 3PL and SAP),      monitoring transactional reports for anomalies, and ensuring timely and      accurate data updates in SAP.

  • Checking      and managing all 3PL invoices, handling General Ledger (GL) allocation,      and verifying monthly finance statements to achieve agreed-upon budget      targets and cost-down initiatives.

  • Leading      the stocktake process (minimum twice yearly) in each warehouse, driving      continuous Kaizen activities for efficiency, and ensuring all returns are      processed accurately and promptly in SAP and WMS.

  • Working      closely with Customer Service, Inventory Planning, Distribution, and Sales      departments to address delivery issues and service levels, while also      liaising with external suppliers, customs agents, and third-party      providers.


About You

You are a seasoned Supply Chain professional with extensive experience managing complex warehouse operations, 3PL relationships, and inventory control. You are an analytical thinker with strong financial acumen and a passion for continuous improvement.

To succeed in this critical role, you will need:

  • Minimum      of 8 years' experience in supply chain operations, ideally within an      environment dealing with fast-turnover and bulky goods.

  • High-level      proficiency with SAP R3 and practical knowledge of modern Warehouse      Management Systems (WMS), with experience using Manhattan Scale being a      significant advantage.

  • Strong      technical skills in data analysis using Microsoft Excel and experience      with reporting/Business Intelligence tools such as Qlik Sense / Qlik View.

  • Proven      ability to analyse and resolve complex operational challenges,      demonstrating strong initiative to take ownership of issues and deliver      positive, sustainable outcomes.

  • Excellent      communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to      effectively manage conflict and build rapport with team members,      stakeholders, and leadership at all levels.

  • Demonstrated      success in managing change initiatives and ensuring operational activities      are strategically aligned with the broader business vision.
