About the role
Daikin Australia is a world leader in air conditioning and is continuously looking to expand our workforce across Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and optimise our daily operations of Daikin Park in Murarrie, QLD.
This pivotal role ensures the seamless flow of finished goods while maintaining peak stock integrity and a high-performance safety culture. You will manage the end-to-end process, from the products we manufacture to our own company logistics.
This role will encompass the following responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end receipt and dispatch of spare parts and units, ensuring processes are efficient and meet strict deadlines.
Dynamically assign duties to the team based on order volume and priority to maximize throughput.
Maintain 100% stock accuracy through robust cycle counting programs and rigorous discrepancy investigations.
Supervise, coach, and mentor the warehouse team to foster a culture of accountability and professional growth.
Lead the refinement of SOPs to enhance service delivery and monitor Warehouse KPIs such as DIFOT and pick accuracy.
Champion a "Safety First" environment, ensuring all staff adhere to company protocols, WHS legislation, and Dangerous Goods regulations.
Build working relationships with the sales team and manage third-party suppliers and freight carriers.
About you
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse supervisor or managerial role, preferably within a high-volume industrial or HVAC distribution environment.
Certificate IV in Warehouse Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is highly regarded. Formal training in Frontline Management is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in SAP, Manhattan (WMS), RF Scanning, and Excel for data reporting.
Valid forklift license (LF/LO) and a deep understanding of Chain of Responsibility.
Strong understanding of modern warehousing techniques (5S, Lean, Kaizen) and the handling of Dangerous Goods.
Ability to resolve complex operations under pressure and strong interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between floor staff and senior management.
