The Opportunity

The Daikin Trade Centre (DTC) supports existing and new trade customers in the Air Conditioning and accessories market. An exciting opportunity is now available for a trade centre all-rounder to join the team based at our Thomastown DTC in Victoria.

This is a full-time role ideally suited to someone who is looking for a career pathway into the HVAC industry.

This role has the potential for the right candidate to progress into a DTC Supervisor, Account Management (sales) or a position in the Supply Chain team.

Reporting to the Trade Centre Supervisor, this hands-on role is responsible for providing a professional customer service to Daikin customers through the prompt processing and managing of sales orders.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to:

• Presenting our company in the best possible light by establishing, developing, and maintaining professional business and customer relationships.

• Accurately preparing and capturing sales orders, processing stock movements, and processing EFT payments.

• Promptly and professionally tend to customer enquiries and keep customers informed on their sales orders and delivery.

The person

To be successful in your application for this role, we will be considering the following:

• Strong customer service skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.

• A high level of attention to detail, diligence, and resilience to perform tasks with care.

• Knowledge of, and experience in, the HVAC industry is an advantage but not essential.

• Some experience in retail sales.

• Data Entry experience and exposure to SAP or a similar system will be advantageous.
