About the Role

Our Daikin Trade Centre (DTC) in Thomastown, VIC supports trade customers with air conditioning accessories and spare parts. We have an exciting opportunity for a Trade Counter Sales / Warehouse Storeperson to join our team. This is a hands-on role combining customer service and warehouse responsibilities, offering an immediate start.

Reporting to the Trade Centre Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while ensuring accurate and efficient order processing and stock management.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Sales & Customer Service

• Assist customers at the trade counter with inquiries and      orders.

• Accurately capture sales order details (stock levels,      delivery specifics, pricing) in SAP or similar ERP systems.

• Process EFT payments and provide timely updates on orders and      deliveries.

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally via      phone, email, and in person.

Warehouse & Stock Management

• Operate a forklift and manage stock movements.

• Participate in stock ordering and inventory counts.

• Perform manual lifting for customer deliveries and maintain      store supplies.

Administration

• Complete all administrative tasks associated with the sales      counter with high accuracy.

About You

You’re a proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Strong commitment to customer experience in a trade counter      setting.

• Proven accuracy in data entry and attention to detail.

• Experience processing EFT payments and managing stock      movements.

• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems (highly      regarded).

• Previous experience in a trade/branch accessory store or      similar environment.

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage your workload      effectively.

• Valid VIC Forklift License (High Reach).
