About the role

Daikin Trade Centre (DTC) at Daikin Australia supports existing and new trade customers in the Air Conditioning and accessories market. An exciting opportunity for a Trade Centre Supervisor is now available for a passionate individual looking to join the team based in our Daikin Trade Centre in Thomastown, VIC offering immediate start if available.

Reporting to the Sales Manager – DTC, this role is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations including sales, customer services, business development, staff management and administration of the Trade Centre.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to:

· Develop new sales opportunities for the DTC by liaising with Daikin customer base and others within the HVAC industry.

· Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments to achieve sales targets and outcomes.

· Ensure all administrative duties are carried out correctly, promptly and accurately.

· Prepare and capture sales order details accurately for entry into SAP

· Supply Management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potentially for new products and services.

· Manage, train and mentor staff members to ensure they are motivated to work.

About you

To be successful in your application for this role, we will be considering the following:

· HVAC product knowledge is highly regarded but not essential

· Data entry experience and exposure to SAP or a similar system will be advantageous.

· Current VIC forklift license is essential (High Reach).

· Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively

· Professional and mature approach to working with internal and external stakeholders

· Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships

· Ability to work independently without close supervision
