About the role

Daikin Australia is seeking a Technical Sales Support Officer for our Forrestfield office in WA. The purpose of this fast-paced, diverse, and challenging role is to provide technical support to the Sales team and customers to select product and develop quotes for projects and tenders.

Reporting to the Sales Manager – Commercial WA, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Review      project and product specifications, select product, and provide quotes      within relevant time frames and other project parameters to customers.

• Prepare      preliminary solutions and pricing on products as requested by internal or      external customers.

• Provide      product information - including data, product brochures, etc. - upon      request provide advice and guidance on technical queries to both internal      and external customers.

• Maintain      appropriate customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction is      maintained.

• Assist      Sales staff with project-related calls to/from customers when required.

About you

• Mechanical      Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent qualification or HVAC trade      qualification.

• Ability      to work independently and in a team environment

• Previous      experience reading and interpreting technical plans and tender      specifications.

• Previous      experience working within HVAC sales, engineering or consultancy

• High      level of organisation skills with demonstrated attention to detail

• Proactive      approach to learning and personal development
