About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Functional Analyst to join our dynamic IT team at our Daikin Park in Warwick Farm, NSW. In this role, you will analyse the business problems and requirements to design a fully functional solution, assisting the Enterprise Architect to evaluate and finalise the SAP solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

• SAP System Expertise & Support: Leading the entire lifecycle of SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) module (MM, SD, WM) implementation and optimisation. You'll translate business needs into effective SAP solutions to enhance the supply chain, improve inventory, and optimise production, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP systems and providing functional expertise throughout project phases.
• Business Process Analysis and Optimisation: Focuses on optimising supply chain management processes by analysing current operations and recommending improvements. You'll collaborate closely with business users to gather and document their requirements, then map these needs to existing or new SAP functionalities. A key objective is to identify and implement process automation and efficiency gains to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• SAP Configuration and Customisation: Involved in the configuration of SAP modules like MM, PP, WM, and SD to align with business requirements and best practices. You'll also develop functional specifications for custom developments, collaborating closely with the technical team. A key responsibility is to conduct and support testing phases (unit, integration, and UAT) to ensure SAP solutions function correctly and perform optimally.
• Problem Resolution & Optimisation: Act as a key resource for troubleshooting and resolving critical SAP incidents and problems. You'll perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and proactively identify areas for system optimisation to enhance performance and user experience.
• Project Leadership & Collaboration: Play a vital role in SAP-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new module implementations. You'll work seamlessly with other IT teams (e.g., Basis, ABAP developers), external consultants, and business users to deliver successful outcomes.

You're a highly experienced and technically proficient SAP professional with a deep understanding of supply chain processes and a passion for optimizing systems. You're a natural problem-solver, an excellent communicator, and thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Higher education in Computer Sciences / Any Engineering Studies, and related SAP certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on/proven experience in SAP SCM functional roles covering Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Warehouse Management (WM).
• Proven experience in full life-cycle SAP implementations, including gathering requirements, configuring systems, conducting testing, and supporting go-live.
• Experience in S/4HANA System conversion is a must.
• Proficient and strong understanding of supply chain processes such as procurement, inventory management, production planning, and order fulfillment.
• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, with experience in Manhattan Scale highly preferred.
• Ability to write functional specifications for custom developments and support ABAP teams as needed.
• Experience with SAP interfaces, integrations, and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) with Manhattan Scale is beneficial.
