Currently in offer for this role: $84K Base + 12% Superannuation + 12% Potential Bonus
About the role
We are currently in search of a Production Support Engineer in our engineering support space, assisting with the high volume of HVAC production processes, equipment and facilities. We are open to finding the right candidate for this role; hence this role will be based on our Sydney manufacturing site (Chipping Norton).

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Technical support of production processes involved in the automated high-volume manufacture of HVAC equipment (heat exchangers, sheet metal enclosures, fan blowers, electrical assemblies) – machine programming, fault finding, problem root cause analysis, maintenance support, new machinery selectin, installation and commissioning.
Introduction of new models to mass production.
Process improvement projects (kaizen) in line with safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental targets. Use relevant PDS (lean manufacturing) or other improvement techniques to enhance SQCDE.
Manage production related capital projects including equipment selection, procurement, installation and commissioning and facility enhancement.
Support the activities of the maintenance technicians and improvement in the maintenance performance of the production area.
Produce and maintain quality production process documentation including but not limited to work instructions, project plans, preventative maintenance plans, PFMEAs and analysis of production processes.
About you
We are seeking a customer-orientated team member that possesses the following attributes:
Diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing industry
Experience with Hidaka, Toyo, Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar PLCs
Working knowledge of automated machinery involved in HVAC production
Identifies problems and uses logic, judgment, and data to evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions to achieve the desired organisational goal or outcome.
Cooperates with others to accomplish common goals; works within and across department to achieve shared goals; treats others with dignity and respect, values the contributions of others
