The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a successful Account Manager to join the Sales team based in Warwick Farm to help drive our business within the Commercial channel in New South Wales.
Reporting to the Sales Manager – Commercial, the responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining an extensive customer base of Daikin dealers, commercial contractors, and trade accounts.
Facilitating business growth by implementing strategies to develop new customer accounts and improving existing customer accounts.
Developing and delivering technical presentations and seminars for targeted customers and projects.
Promoting new products and product enhancements for integration into the Australian market in line with company strategy/directives.
Developing and delivering project tenders that accurately reflect both customer requirements and optimum product positioning.
Achieving budget and win rate through effective negotiation to ensure the best outcomes for both Daikin and the customer, within Daikin pricing and credit structures.
Maintaining a high level of project knowledge through regular customer follow-ups, site visits, obtaining builders schedules, etc.
The person:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent trade qualification
Previous sales experience in HVAC solutions or experience in Technical Sales Support would be highly advantageous.
Good understanding the commercial market and sales cycles and the ability to apply sales strategies accordingly.
The ability to interpret and understand technical designs and translate it to product solutions.
Previous experience with SAP and/or Salesforce will be highly regarded.
The ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with both internal and external customers.
A high level of influencing and negotiation skills.
The motivation and resilience to successfully work through complex projects and opportunities.
