The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and technically minded Account Manager to join our Applied Sales Team in Murarrie, QLD. You will be the driving force behind our Applied channel, managing high-value relationships and complex HVAC projects.
Reporting to the Sales Manager – Applied QLD, the responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Implement targeted strategies to identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts within the QLD market.
· Promote new products and system enhancements through high-level technical presentations and seminars to consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
· Lead the development and delivery of project tenders, including the selection of Chillers and Airside products, ensuring optimum product positioning and competitive pricing.
· Act as a subject matter expert, integrating Daikin’s cutting-edge Applied technology into major Australian infrastructure and commercial projects.
About you
· Effective communication: Clearly conveying information and ideas verbally and through a variety of media to individuals or groups.
Organising and planning: Adopting a systematic approach to planning work and department operations to ensure work is completed efficiently.
Building relationships: Both formal and informal professional relationships within, across, and external to organisational boundaries.
Resilience: Maintaining performance and self-control under pressure or adversity.
Presentation skills: Building and delivering influential and structured presentations.
Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent is highly regarded
Previous experience in Applied HVAC solutions or experience in Technical Sales Support will be highly regarded
