
Daikin Training Academy
Daikin Australia is proud to present a range of training courses especially designed for air conditioning technicians. Our courses cover both domestic and commercial products and will reinforce ‘industry best-practice’ with regards to installation and servicing of Daikin products. Courses are aimed to help technicians improve their competence and daily performance.
Our qualified trainers have extensive HVAC industry and technical support experience. They all share a mutual passion for the industry and work tirelessly to help improve trade practices from apprentices to tradesmen.

This course is open for technicians with a Full Refrigerant Handling License.

UEERA0097 is a nationally accredited course. Learning outcomes and course guidelines are available here.
On successful completion technicians will receive a Statement of Attainment and completion letter for UEERA0097, which is Daikin certified.
Overview of VRV Systems
The Overview of Daikin VRV Systems course has been designed in partnership with Alpha Technical Training (RTO 45289). It provides licensed Technicians a comprehensive learning experience while minimising time off the road. It is complimented with online and face-to-face sessions to enhance knowledge transfer.
Course Inclusions:

VRV Design - explanation of Daikins leading Xpress software used to design commercial building HVAC Systems.

Installation and Commissioning of VRV systems-group number settings, high level control systems (iTM) and test run procedures.

Heavy focus on locating and rectifying faults including inverter and refrigerant based scenarios.

Theory, lecture and industry expert guidance on Daikins leading VRV compressor frequency controllogic and electronic expansion valve.

Understanding sub cool and superheat control on VRV Indoors - wet and dry operation.

Additional refrigerant charge calculations and procedures.
-
Components testing and evaluation, fan motors,expansion valve, power transistors, inverter boardchecks and procedures.

Daikin Checker type-4 connection, recording and real world case study analysis and fault diagnosis.

Apprentices need to attend with a qualified tradesman from their company.

A limited number of 4 participants per course per company.
