About the role
Take on a new challenge and apply for our Quality Control Engineer position! This role, you will support the production of good quality goods from the factory to the customer through improvements and maintenance of the quality system, product inspections, data collection and analysis, defect reporting and root cause analysis but not limited to:
• Contribute to Kaizen efforts within the factory
• Create and maintenance quality system documentations including MQ and quality procedures
• Provide technical support to Manufacturing on matters pertaining to product quality
• Conduct product inspection, data collection and analysis, defect reporting and root cause analysis.
• Lead and support the activities of ‘quality circle’ teams within the factory.
• Plan and conduct supplier audits, including both domestic and international locations as required.
About you
• 5+ years previous experience in Quality/Production/Manufacturing or relevant industry
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with quality related roles are highly regarded
• Strong experience and/or knowledge of ISO9001 requirements
• Lean and Six Sigma qualifications are highly regarded.
