  Daikin's Inverter Difference

Daikin Inverter air conditioners are more powerful yet more energy efficient than conventional, non-inverter models.

Conventional air conditioners operate at a fixed speed, delivering a fixed amount of cooling and heating. While trying to maintain a set temperature they operate on a 'stop/start' principle.

A Daikin Inverter has a much more advanced technology that operates differently. It works like the accelerator of a car, gently increasing or decreasing power. It reaches the desired temperature quicker and steadily maintains it without wild fluctuations. That means uninterrupted comfort and significant savings on running costs.

Daikin Inverter models are also very reliable even in extremes. Your Daikin Inverter’s operation is guaranteed even when the mercury soars to as high as 46ºC or as falls to as low as minus 10ºC (heating).

  Quiet Efficiency

Swing Compressor
Swing CompressorThe design of the swing compressor reduces friction during operation for smoother and quieter  rotation with less vibration, and it also minimises the leakage of refrigerant gas during compression. The result is an air conditioner that operates so quietly and efficiently that you'll barely notice it in your home, or your budget. Available in all models except the FAQ90C Model.

Reluctance DC MotorReluctance DC Motor

Daikin's Reluctance DC motors utilise powerful neodymium magnets that are 10 times stronger than conventional magnets. By maximising torque, Daikin's Reluctance DC motors can boost efficiency 20% higher than conventional motors.

PAM Control
PAM ControlPulse Amplitude Modulation Technology is one of the keys to Daikin’s success in producing an air conditioner that offers high power while maintaining excellent energy efficiency. Available in all models except the FAQ90C model.

RefrigerantsRefrigerants

Every air conditioner uses a refrigerant. Daikin air conditioners utilise three: R410A, R22, and R407C refrigerants.

R410A is the latest advance in refrigerants and provides excellent stability, low toxicity and non-combustibility. R22 refrigerant is a long running industry standard refrigerant.

R407C is used in Daikin Super Inverter Ducted units, and provides excellent stability, low toxicity and non-combustibility, as well as offering superior energy savings.

Daikin's Acclaimed Difference
Many Daikin air conditioning systems have received the Top Energy Saver Award, an award system created by governments to recognise the most efficient star-rated products on the market.
